As part of a long-term partnership, AHRI (Institute of Air Conditioning, Heating and Cooling) has agreed to share its equipment and component performance standards with ISHRAE (Indian Society of Heating, Cooling and Air Conditioning) to facilitate the development of concerted standards focused on India's specific conditions and needs. The two organizations signed the agreement on June 23 during a ceremony held in Salt Lake City."This agreement is consistent with the spirit of the HVACR industry's goal of reducing regulatory differences and facilitating international trade, while maintaining high levels of performance," said Mark Menzer, executive vice president of AHRI. "We are pleased that ISHRAE is focused on strengthening your country's HVACR performance standards and look forward and stand ready to help the organization achieve this monumental goal."
