The RefriAméricas 2026 Academic Congress will have as its thematic axis the "Efficiency, decarbonization and technological transformation in HVAC/R", a proposal that seeks to respond to the current challenges faced by the air conditioning and refrigeration industry in the midst of the energy transition, new environmental regulations and technological acceleration.
The academic program will address how operational efficiency and decarbonization have become strategic factors for the present and future of the HVAC/R sector, driving new practices, technologies and business models oriented towards sustainability and energy performance.
Among the topics that will be part of the congress are energy optimization in HVAC and industrial refrigeration, the transition to alternative refrigerants and safety in their implementation, as well as automation, remote monitoring and predictive maintenance.
The program will also include content related to the integration of digital technologies and data management, innovation in system design and commissioning, environmental regulations and international standards, efficiency in the cold chain and new business models focused on sustainability.
The Academic Congress will also be supported by an academic committee made up of renowned experts from the industry and the technical field. Among them are Camilo Botero, Tulia Ríos, Nelson Cruz, Ernesto Sanguinetti and Alfredo Escárate.
With this thematic agenda, RefriAméricas 2026 will seek to consolidate itself as a space for technical updating and strategic analysis for professionals, manufacturers, engineers, contractors and specialists in the HVAC/R sector in Latin America.
