Eco Expo Think Green Special Statement – Event Date Change

For all participants and sponsors:

First of all, we would like to thank you for all the support that has been provided during this year and the past for the celebration of the third edition of Eco Expo Think Green in Playa del Carmen.

2009-2010 has been a great year with an immense amount of extraordinary activities that have taken place in the Mexican Ecological Community.

From November 29 to December 10, the COP16 conference will be held for the first time in Cancun, where presidents from around the world will meet to discuss global environmental issues.

On September 28 to 30 of this year, Mexico City hosted the 2nd Green Expo where there were hundreds of participants and thousands of attendees. Just last week in Mexico City the 2nd Edition of En Verde Ser was held, which also turned out to be a great success.

Thank you all for the wonderful support, our sponsors and participants, Think Green is in its 3rd year, making it the oldest ecological exhibition in Mexico.

Living in the Riviera Maya gives us a magnificent advantage for our Eco Event, since we are in one of the most visited destinations in the world. We have a moderate high and low season annually. The influx of tourism in high season is mostly international, which opens the market for new consumers, so our products can be known in many more places in the world.

With all this momentum and positive activities, we have had to reevaluate the date of the event for this year. In the past, Think Green Eco Expo was held in late November or early December, a low season compared to the first months of the year, particularly January.

Annual statistics show an increase of more than 20% in traffic to this area between December and January. This occupancy rate remains strong throughout January, February and March each year, with more than 250,000 tourists visiting us around that time.

This year we want to celebrate the event during the busiest season all year round.
The 3rd edition of Think Green Eco Expo will be held on February 5 and 6, 2011. With the intention that, in the future, the event will continue to be held during this time of year.

The main advantages of this change are:

**We are happy to offer a payment plan so that participants can schedule payments in their budget to participate, and not interfere with Christmas and high season expenses.

**60 extra days of advertising for everyone!!

**Blog Accounts for all Eco sponsors and Eco participants who will make your product known worldwide!

**The event will be open to the general public in Playa del Carmen and the Riviera Maya, when tourist occupancy is above 80% (250,000+) according to statistics provided by the Director of Tourism of the Riviera Maya in its annual reports.

**We will be able to expand the scope of the conference, inviting personalities and great experts in the field to talk about the environment and ecology.

**We will not compete with the Riviera Maya Jazz Festival (Nov. 25 to 28) or Expotur 2010 (Nov. 25 to 27), which are held the same week as the dates scheduled for the Think Green event.

We are very excited about this change and hope you will too!

The registration of participants will close on January 21, 2011.

The venue of the event is to be confirmed due to the imminent construction on the land contemplated for the current location and will be relocated to an area of greater traffic. The address will be confirmed by the end of next week.

Think Green Eco Expo will sponsor the participation of two local projects in Playa del Carmen. The Aklu ́um International School and Coco Cat Rescue, both privately funded Eco programs in the area; the two groups will be present at this year's event thanks to all the support we have received so far.

In addition, participants and sponsors will be able to order banners made of 100% biodegradable material. This is a great way to accentuate your exhibition space and at the same time help the environment. To order your banners please contact us at: [email protected]

We look forward to any comments you may have regarding these adjustments and we sincerely apologize in advance for any inconvenience these changes may cause you.

Thanks a lot.
Says goodbye to you,

Antentamemnte,
Courtney Venus
