Voice of the Reader – Ecological Campaign "Actions with Meaning"

Wayak Interdisciplinary Group of Solidarity Action A.C. is a project of young professionals and students that has been built from interests, concerns, experiences, knowledge and the opportunity to observe an unfair and inequitable reality. During the training process, the different orientations and visions have enriched the growth until in 2009 it was legally constituted.

Our vision is to be an organization that contributes to a better, inclusive and supportive world. Where those below, the forgotten have the same possibilities.

We want to invite you to participate with us in the program "Actions with Meaning" which seeks to raise awareness and change our consumption habits, to positively impact the environment. The idea is to modify several daily actions, to turn them into green habits, to reduce pollution. Through workshops, dissemination and concrete actions.

One of them is the proposal "Let's use and reuse" which consists of becoming aware as consumers that the life of things can be extended, through the use of the three "R's" reduces, reuses and recycles. Within this campaign we have two lines of action, on the one hand the reduction of plastic bags and on the other a collection center.

The last of these two consists of the collection of computer devices, cell phones and batteries that have ceased to have an immediate function, but that can really be reused. We invite you to support us to gather this type of device and to donate it to us so that someone else can continue using and extend their period of life.

In the first, the use of reusable bags is encouraged, in order to reduce the use of unsustainable bags, which damage the environment, since they are produced with oil and many other chemicals that are harmful to health, and take approximately 200 years to disintegrate.
The objective of the proposal of the campaign "Let's use and reuse" is to work together, unifying proposals that contribute to the preservation of the environment, to ignite and share experiences and knowledge about the reuse of products. Forming part of wayak's ecological payroll and a bag that is the proposal for solidarity action.

For this reason, Wayak A.C. proposes this project so that the bag contains not only one brand, but several that are also interested in the preservation of the environment and that we do not have the resources to do it personally. Remember that being a bag that will be made by the union of several interested parties will not have any cost.
