Successful edition

On September 30, 2010, The Green Expo, an international business forum for the most important environmental, energy, water and sustainable cities industries in the country, was closed.

With a preliminary figure of 23.5 percent higher in the number of visitors during the first two days, compared to the previous year and more than 650 attendees in the Conference Program, its organizers assure that it was a success.

"Today, after three days gathered in this venue, we reaffirm with greater certainty the importance of urgently addressing the environmental issue and the need to solve the problems from an interdisciplinary, inter-institutional, intergovernmental and multilateral perspective," said José Navarro Meneses, general director of E.J. Krause of Mexico during the closing ceremony.

The Green Expo 2010 had the participation of researchers, academic institutions, public and private entities, more than 100 conferences, 95 topics and 120 national and international speakers of the first level were integrated. Likewise, it convened 180 exhibiting companies with high quality technology solutions, environmental and energy proposals from countries such as Austria, the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, Spain and, of course, Mexico.

At the end, the organizers thanked the participation and support of all attendees and announced the 2011 edition, from September 27 to 29 which will be held at the World Trade Center Mexico City.
