In an agreement signed with ACAIRE (Colombian Association of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration), the Pontifical Bolivarian University (UPB) of Medellín, Colombia, began last April the diploma in refrigeration projects.This academic program is designed for the updating, improvement and professional deepening of those people who have to do with the formulation, programming, monitoring of investment projects, projection and expansion of sustainable technical-economic activities of the refrigeration sector. The diploma combines in an appropriate academic environment competences in the areas of thermodynamics, fluid flow, heat transfer, control and instrumentation and design.
The facilitating group is composed of an interdisciplinary team of experts recognized in Colombia for their extensive experience in the industrial refrigeration sector with the support of the Institute of Energy and Thermodynamics of the UPB. The diploma has an intensity of 124 hours, began on April 24 and will run until August 28.
