Increases of 10 and 30% in the number of exhibitors and visitors, large influx of participants in the conferences, as well as a greater participation of international companies in the cold sector was the balance of the twelfth edition of CholodExpo, held from March 10 to 12, 2009, in Moscow. With nearly 3,000 visitors and 1,548 m2 occupied at Moscow's Crocus Expo international exhibition centre, exhibitors reported positive balances in the quality of visitors and the results of their participation. International participation was highlighted, with 82 exhibitors from 11 different countries, and visitors from 32 countries. Likewise, the conferences organized under the direction of the Russian Association of the Cold Industry "Rossojuscholodprom" and the Giproholod Institute aroused great interest, especially "Situation and prospects of the cold industry in Russia" and "Technical regulation of the cold market".
