Elez has an extensive background in the HVAC and building technology industries, having held leadership positions at companies such as Trane, KONE and Johnson Controls. Throughout his career, he has excelled at leading global organizations, driving sustainable growth, strengthening operational performance, and integrating engineered products with services, digital capabilities, and system-level solutions.
His leadership approach and experience are aligned with Armstrong's strategy and values, oriented towards innovation, continuous learning and service.

Danilo Elez holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and holds undergraduate degrees in Industrial Engineering and Economics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. In addition, he was a Fulbright scholar, which reinforces his global perspective backed by international experience.
