Canada. Armstrong Fluid Technology announced the launch of its Systems Envelope – Fluid Management Station (SE-FMS), a modular solution developed to transform fluid management in HVAC systems.
The new station seeks to eliminate operational inefficiencies, reduce costs and optimize performance throughout the entire life cycle of the system.
The SE-FMS is based on Armstrong's Envelope Core platform, which integrates advanced digital technologies such as Performance Mapping, Digital Twinning and real-time performance monitoring. These capabilities allow for precise system optimization, helping users achieve lower installation costs and a better total cost of operation over the life of the equipment.
Among the main features of the SE-FMS are:
Modular Design: Available in Simplex, Duplex and Triplex configurations, the SE-FMS adapts to different mechanical room designs, reducing space requirements. Its compact design uses up to 40% less floor space and the modules can be easily reconfigured without specialized tools.
Energy efficiency: Thanks to optimized sequencing, sensorless control, and advanced intelligence, the system can reduce energy consumption by up to 30%, as well as reduce embodied carbon by up to 50%.
Ease of installation: The modular system is delivered factory-assembled and verified, pre-wired and ready for quick commissioning, reducing installation costs by up to 30% compared to traditional systems. The Wrench app facilitates the commissioning process for a streamlined and efficient start-up.
Reliable Performance: Built-in redundancy, ISO-certified factory assembly, and continuous performance monitoring ensure stable operation and high levels of efficiency.
The SE-FMS is also smart environment-ready and has built-in cybersecurity, connecting directly to Envelope Core for real-time performance verification, lifecycle tracking, and predictive analytics. Through the ADEPT selection tool, design engineers can optimize HVAC applications by considering total flow, load, redundancy, and operating range, ensuring long-term reliability and energy savings.
"Armstrong Fluid Technology is committed to driving performance and reducing costs for our customers," said Sam Shaban, Senior Engineering Manager, MPS at Armstrong Fluid Technology. "The SE-FMS represents a significant advancement in fluid management, delivering unprecedented efficiency, reliability and flexibility for HVAC systems."
