Brazil. After 25 years operating under the Elco do Brasil brand, the traditional engine factory announces an important corporate and identity change: as of this year it will be renamed Ventech, a new brand that reflects the evolution of the company and its transition to a completely Brazilian operation.
The change comes after the partners-directors and managers – who owned 30% of the capital – acquired the remaining 70% belonging to the US group Regal Rexnord, in a merger and acquisition operation that consolidated the company as 100% national.
According to the company, the new stage under the Ventech brand represents "autonomy, innovation and commitment to the future", in addition to reinforcing its identity and proximity to the local market.
Management and operation: more agility from Brazil
With the transition, management will be carried out entirely in Brazil, which will allow, according to the company, greater autonomy, flexibility and speed in customer service. Logistics capacity will also be expanded, with the aim of offering more efficient deliveries and a more agile service.
Despite the rebranding, there will be no alterations in the factory, location or work team. Operations continue in the same direction and with the same production structure.
Unchanged products and expanding portfolio
The company assures that the products will maintain the same characteristics, codes, raw materials and manufacturing processes. The quality, he stresses, will remain the same that has distinguished the brand for more than two decades. In addition, Ventech anticipates that it will work on expanding its engine portfolio in this new phase.
Benefits for the market
According to the company, customers will be able to expect more reliable delivery times, more efficient service and competitive pricing, all without sacrificing quality.
The long-term commitment to the Brazilian market – now reinforced with a 100% national brand and management – is positioned as the central axis of this new stage.
