United States. Greenheck announced the expansion of cooling and airflow options on its DGX and MSX make-up air units, equipped with Integrated Direct Expansion (PDX).
With this upgrade in H22 cabinet size, the units now achieve up to 9,000 cfm of airflow and add new cooling capacities of 7, 10 and 16 tons, significantly expanding their range of applications. Both versions operate with R-454B refrigerant, an environmentally friendly, EPA-approved alternative, and also offer chilled water or evaporative cooling as additional options.
The new design of the DGX model with PDX features micro-channel coils, which require less refrigerant and improve heat transfer, as well as offering direct gas heating of up to 1,200,000 Btu/h. The MSX model is available with electric heating, steam or hot water coils.
These solutions strengthen Greenheck's presence in commercial, industrial, kitchen and warehouse applications. With capacities ranging from 800 to 64,000 cfm, heating up to 7,000,000 Btu/h and between 3 and 16 tons of integrated cooling, the company ensures that its make-up air units can respond to a wide spectrum of ventilation, heating and cooling needs.
