Colombia. With the support of more than 86% of the board of directors, Giovanni Barletta was re-elected as president of the Colombian Association of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (ACAIRE) for the ninth consecutive year.
The election takes place in a key year for the association, which celebrates its 45th anniversary consolidating its role in the HVAC/R sector in South America.
During his most recent management, ACAIRE reported important achievements and most of its directors were also ratified for a new term. With more than 40 years of experience in the industry, Barletta announced that his priorities for this new cycle will include the implementation of RETSIT in Colombia, the organization of the Regional Expoacaire and the Barranquilla Expoacaire, as well as the strengthening of alliances with international sectors and agencies.
Barletta's re-election reflects ACAIRE's stability and projection in the development of the sector at a national and international level.
