Latin America. Applications for the prestigious CALA AWARDS 2025 will be open until May 10. This award, organized by ACR Latin America, is a unique opportunity to highlight the best air conditioning and refrigeration projects in Latin America.
The selected finalists will not only have the honor of being recognized, but will also be invited by the organization to travel to RefriAméricas Santo Domingo, where the award ceremony will be held.
The awards ceremony will be held on July 23, 2025 on the show floor of the San Soucí Ports Convention Center, where the winner of the Best HVAC/R Facility of the Year 2025 category will be announced. In this edition, the following categories will be awarded:
• Best Air Conditioning Project.
• Best Refrigeration Project.
Selection process:
The process to choose the winners will begin with the evaluation of the submitted projects by a jury made up of industry experts. This committee will select three finalists in each category, considering the following criteria:
• Incorporation of cutting-edge technologies in the project.
• Positive impact on the intervened space, optimising its functionality and sustainability.
• Relevance and benefit of the project for the region or country.
• Future projection of the project.
The final selection will be made through a virtual vote between the months of June and July, through the websites of the ACR Latin America magazine and RefriAméricas.
