Puerto Rico. A group of current topics are already confirmed to be presented at the Refriaméricas Puerto Rico Congress, an event that will be held on July 26 and 27 at the Puerto Rico Convention Center in San Juan.
Refriméricas will bring an important group of international experts who will give a high level to the congress with a series of topics focused on decarbonization and the future of the industry, both for those who wish to train in HVAC and refrigeration, divided into two specialized rooms.
This year's Keynote Speaker will be Eng. Karine Leblanc, distinguished Lecture of ASHRAE, who will present the topic: "How to be human in a technical world", where she will delve into the importance of human skills to develop technical knowledge and become an integral professional within this industry.
"We live in a technical world, and yet technical skills can be useless without human skills. Human abilities connect us to our humanity, our personality, our ability to communicate and interact with others. So why aren't human skills even taught in schools? Learn the step-by-step solution to increase your emotional intelligence and change your behavior with the six magical human abilities," says Karine about her lecture.
Within the framework of the Refriaméricas congress, the panel called "The challenge of designing and executing HVAC / R projects in the XXI century" will also be held, which will be integrated by the finalists to the CALA Awards that will reward the best HVAC / R project of the last year.
The Refriaméricas congress will have expert speakers from the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Chile and Peru, and has the support of an Advisory Committee composed of Yesenia Rector, Director of IIAR in the United States; Carlos Gringberg, Consultant from Argentina, and Darío Ibargüengoitia, Expert Consultant in sustainability.
