Latin America. In the Refriamericas congress, which will take place this 2023 in San Juan (Puerto Rico) on July 26 and 27, the most outstanding air conditioning and/or refrigeration system projects and installations in Latin America during the last year (2021-2022) will be recognized.
Duván Chaverra, Editorial Chief of ACR Latinoamerica, said that "with the CALA Award for Best HVAC/R Installation in Latin America we want to highlight again the work of contractors – installers, through projects that stand out for their design and execution in aspects such as energy efficiency, sustainability and future projection".
According to information sent by the CALA Adwards "the call will be open until May 27 at 5:00 p.m., Mexico time. The winning project of the CALA AWARDS AWARD FOR Best HVAC/R Installation will be chosen among the four finalists through virtual voting, which will be held between June 24 and July 26, 2023, through the websites of the magazine ACR LATINOAMÉRICA and Refriaméricas".
Contest parameters
- The call is open throughout Latin America.
- HVAC/R Installation is understood to be all projects that require the integration of commercial and industrial air conditioning or refrigeration equipment and systems that are completed and operating at the closing date of this call.
- The proposal submitted must not be older than two years with respect to the closing time of the call.
- Each participating entity/company may compete with only one project.
- The materials sent to participate may be freely used by the organization for the purpose of promotion and dissemination thereof.
Steps to apply for a project to the CALA AWARDS Best HVAC/R Installation
- The application of projects will be only through the website www.refriamericas.com
- Record a video of maximum 3 minutes explaining and showing all the details of the installation. The video must be uploaded to Youtube.
- Fill out the application form in which you must add all the requested information, and a description as complete as possible of the project, with details such as type of installation, project objectives, equipment and systems implemented, technical characteristics, etc.
- Send three to four high-resolution photographs of the proposed project to the [email protected]
it should be noted that the deadline for project application is May 27 at 5:00 p.m., Mexico time, and that the submission of projects for the award means acceptance of all the parameters of the award.
Criteria for choosing the finalist projects
- The type of cutting-edge technologies incorporated into it.
- The degree to which air conditioning and/or refrigeration technologies positively influence the intervened space, optimizing its operation.
- The importance that the project could have for the benefit of the region or the country.
- The works presented may belong to the commercial or industrial categories.
