Chile. On May 4, Saeg's Chilean headquarters, in conjunction with Daikin Refrigeración, launched the ZEAS CO2 unit, a condensing unit that they described as novel and whose promise is to be friendly to the environment.
According to Saeg the ZEAS CO2 is a medium and low temperature condensing unit from Daikin that is intended to be "the perfect solution for all refrigeration and freezing (MV - LT) applications with variable load conditions and need for high efficiency".
The company describes this as a compact and energy-efficient equipment that adapts to the needs of each project and reduces the environmental footprint thanks to the use of natural refrigerant (CO2).
However, within the commercial and industrial applications of the ZEAS, it stands out that it serves small or medium-sized supermarkets, cold stores, industrial processes and the pharmaceutical industry, among others.
In general, the advantages of ZEA CO2, according to Saeg, are that it is a compact and energy-efficient equipment with a reduced environmental footprint; which has an inverter BLDC compressor with 2-stage technology that increases its reliability and durability; its silent operation, as it has several noise reduction modes and includes a "night mode"; The optimal and precise control of the capacity it carries, since it "works efficiently even with little load".
Likewise, the brand highlighted that this device has the possibility of heat recovery, providing additional energy savings of 23% on average, as well as educating the loss of cooling and freezing capacity even in dry and extreme climates. Namely:

Finally, Saeg stressed that this solution is fully equipped for operation, delivered factory tested, pre-programmed for quick and easy installation and commissioning. And, in addition to offering time and cost savings in the process, it has the versatility of being able to install several units.
