Latin America. The Federation of Ibero-American Associations of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, FAIAR, confirmed that the new board of directors for the period 2022-2024 has already begun work.
This new council consists of the President, the Vice-President and the Executive Secretariat. The Presidency of FAIAR is nominated by the Mexican Association of Companies in the Field of Construction Facilities, AMERIC AC, responsible for the realization of the #CIAR2024.
In that sense, FAIAR will have a presidency led by Héctor Martínez, President of AMERIC; Roberto Rosas, Vice President of the Air Conditioning sector of AMERIC, and Elsa Yáñez, Vice President of the Indoor Air Quality Council of FAIAR.
The Vice Presidency will be exercised by Luis Neto, in his capacity as President of EFRIARC, an Association that made the 2022 version of CIAR Portugal last May. The council is completed by the executive secretary of FAIAR, Claudia Sánchez.
FAIAR was born in 2001 as a non-profit organization that brings together Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking associations who share the same principles.
