Emerson Reaches 200 Million Global Scroll Compressor Installations

Emerson

International. Emerson announced the milestone of reaching 200 million installations using the Copeland series compressor range worldwide, celebrating 100 years in the global HVAC/R market.

With investments in sustainable solutions, Emerson offers a range of new compressors designed to meet efficiency requirements and reduce global warming potential (GWP) against industry regulatory timelines, driving new product innovations for commercial refrigeration and residential and light commercial air conditioning.

New products include Copeland ZPK7 and Copeland ZPKZ scroll compressors for state-of-the-art residential and commercial air conditioning applications, marking the company's 100-year history in the market.

For Daniel Rohe, Emerson's General Manager for South America, Copeland has been building an unprecedented legacy in these 100 years in the market. "Present in Brazil since 1994 with the Copeland brand, Emerson invests in technology and improvement of its products and solutions, offering equipment of maximum efficiency and more sustainable. Celebrating 100 years of Copeland with 200 million installations testifies to the brand's reliability and preference in the global HVAC-R market. We continue to expand our product portfolio to meet environmental demands, with reduced carbon footprints, lower GWP and higher energy efficiency. This puts us at the forefront, providing innovative solutions for applications in air conditioning and refrigeration systems."

Other recent additions include the Copeland ZPSK7 two-stage scroll compressor for residential and light commercial air conditioning systems; an expanding product line of CO2 compressors for commercial refrigeration applications; advances in compressor technology for R-290; and qualified A2L compressors, condensing units and components.

"Celebrating 200 million Copeland compressors installed worldwide marks a major achievement for the Copeland brand and reinforces the reliability and efficiency of compressor preference for OEMs, contractors, technicians and end users as they work to meet regulatory compliance and sustainability goals. We offer new compressor options with lower GWP and higher efficiency requirements, driving sustainable product development," said John Schneider, president of HVACR Technologies Americas at Emerson.

As regulations and sustainability goals drive wider adoption of CO2 refrigerant as a green solution, Emerson continues to expand its compressor portfolio and develop innovative Copeland offerings for commercial refrigeration that simplify application in CO2 refrigeration systems.

Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Copeland brand, Emerson expands its focus on rigorous product testing and thorough research, offering reliable, high-efficiency, low-GWP solutions to meet the needs of manufacturers for efficient and sustainable refrigerant regulations.
