Intarcon presented its new catalogue of solutions for refrigeration

International. Intarcon announced the launch of its new general product catalog for 2018/2019, which will include its latest developments in equipment and solutions for refrigeration in the temperature range between -40ºC and +20ºC, with new ranges based on natural refrigerants such as propane (R290), or CO2 (R744), and solutions with low GWP refrigerants such as R134a, R152a, R449A or R452A among others for various applications.

Hospitality and catering: Commercial compact equipment with propane – intarblock R290-, and compact door equipment for mini-refrigeration chambers, in a power range of 600 to 1500 W in medium temperature and from 500 to 1000 W in medium temperature. This new range of commercial monoblocks has a high efficiency and incorporates state-of-the-art components. Its sleek design makes it possible to make the most of the storage space, and its lightened structure minimizes thermal bridges and cold losses.

For small refrigeration installations of a set of chambers or refrigerated furniture with independent operation, the most practical and simple solution is the centralization of refrigeration production in a silent multi-service mini-plant Sigilus-multi.

Evaporator units for chambers and mini-chambers are easily integrated into the installation as a service. The new series of commercial cubic evaporator units is equipped with regulation and electronic control valves for high, medium and low temperature cold rooms.

Alternatively, hydronic equipment is offered for cooling at a positive temperature, which is characterized by having a reduced refrigerant load, and which uses glycol water for cooling the cold room.

Supermarkets: In large multi-service facilities where it is necessary to service a set of evaporators such as murals, cabinets, showcases or conservation or freezing islands, the best solution in terms of efficiency and simplicity goes through plants equipped with regulation systems of variable capacity.

The intarCUBE refrigeration plants, reduced in axial or centrifugal version, silent axial central intarPACK or V-condenser central intarWatt, incorporate these systems for optimal adaptation to supermarket installations. The expansion of the intarCUBE range with the new 7 series stands out, optimized for commercial premises or supermarkets with a refrigeration need of up to 40 kW.

As a novelty, the intarloop series is also developed, incorporating water condensed groups with for positive temperature cooling with rotary compressors. They are presented in a horizontal housing of only 200 mm in height, for installation under or above the services occupying a minimum space.

Cold logistics: The range of compact superblock and semi-compact equipment intarPACK and intarCUBE are the most suitable solution to cover the refrigeration needs of large storage chambers at positive and negative temperatures, as well as pre-chambers and loading docks.

Glycol water cooling: Glycol water chiller plants are the solution to the production of glycol water and other types of brines for medium, low and high temperature refrigeration applications in closed circuit, refrigeration of food processes at controlled temperature, cooling of injection molds and industrial machinery or cooling of beer tanks, among others. These equipment are available with compressors from 3/4 to 240 hp, providing powers between 1 and 400 KW at medium temperature using R134a, R449A or R152a, or other alternative gases.

Industrial processes: The wide range of refrigeration equipment and evaporator units offer excellent solutions to maintain the cold chain, or specific temperature and humidity needs in industrial processes. With a power range ranging from 1CV to 150 hp, with the possibility of reaching up to 300 hp.

The most outstanding novelty in this new Intarcon catalogue is the incorporation of the ECO2 System. Developed entirely by Intarcon, it uses cascade CO2 as an ecological refrigerant for the distribution of positive and negative cold through a common liquid line with a double suction line. Unlike transcritical CO2 booster systems, the double CO2 suction cascade system maintains high energy efficiency even at high ambient temperature thanks to the condensation of CO2 cascading with a high temperature cycle. The system is available in its three versions: eCO2market, eCO2rack and eCO2watt, offering a power range from 20 to 300 kW (MT + BT), as well as CO2 evaporator units.
