Latin America. Daikin announced the expansion of its line of business to include generic parts, supplies and tools. This includes the formation of a commercial team composed of engineers specialized in the area and the establishment of new strategic alliances with suppliers in their market segments.
"Daikin now offers a comprehensive solution for its customers and business partners. It is not only about offering them equipment with the highest technology, but also everything necessary for their installation and maintenance, "said Hugo Martínez, regional manager of Parts of Daikin.
The parts catalog includes alternatives in improving air quality and filtration. These include bipolar ionization, which uses specialized tubes that take oxygen molecules from the air and convert them into charged atoms that then cluster around microparticles, surrounding and deactivating harmful substances such as airborne mold, bacteria, allergens, and viruses.
In addition, UV light technology, which allows ultraviolet radiation to penetrate the cell wall of microorganisms, producing a DNA mutation that is lethal to viruses and bacteria and any single-celled microorganism. Added to this are specialized HVAC chemicals such as Evap-Fresh and Spray Nine, which have proven highly effective against viruses on non-porous hard surfaces.
