Trane Technologies named one of the most sustainable companies

Trane TechnologiesInternational. Trane Technologies has been included in the 2021 Corporate Knights Global 100 index of the world's most sustainable corporations. Corporate Knights published its seventeenth annual ranking in Davos in recent days, after a rigorous evaluation of more than 8,000 companies.

"We are proud to earn a spot on Corporate Knights' elite list as one of the most sustainable companies in the world," said Mike Lamach, president and CEO of Trane Technologies. "Leading with a bold purpose of challenging what is possible for a sustainable world and incorporating environmental and social principles into our strategy and operations is the right thing to do. Not only is it good for our company's performance, it's also vital to building a better future for our people, communities and planet. By challenging ourselves to think differently, take bold action and form collaborative partnerships, we can help solve major global challenges like climate change."

Global 100 companies represent the world's one percent highest in sustainability performance and are analyzed across 24 quantitative key performance indicators including resource management, employee management, financial management, and supplier performance. Trane Technologies' progress in increasing clean revenues and energy productivity were critical factors in achieving the high ranking.

Promoting the sustainability agenda
To help address some of the most important global challenges, Trane Technologies also joined the World Economic Forum as an associate partner and participated in the Davos Agenda where it collaborated with other world leaders in advancing sustainable economic growth.
