International. The Italian manufacturer of air conditioning valves, Fratelli Pettinaroli, announced three recent projects in which it has participated as a supplier for important facilities in Europe and Asia. Below is a summary of the projects:
Alicante Airport: HVAC renewal
Pettinaroli has been chosen as a supplier for the renovation of the air conditioning system at The Alicante-Elche airport in Spain. The project consists of replacing the air conditioning system in the ticketing and car rental rooms, which was previously carried out with a split system, changing from an individual air conditioning system to a common network. As a result, 140 XT701 kits were installed, equipped with 91 series PICV valves. The actuators mounted to control the dynamic balance valves are electrothermal A542O2 on / off 230V.

Located in the heart of Dublin's Docklands Hub, Spencer Place is a prestigious development consisting of 380,000 square feet of Grade A workspace, 195 hotel rooms, fitness center and 14,000 square feet of restaurant space. It will soon become the EMEA headquarters for Salesforce. Pettinaroli UK worked extensively with Keane Environmental and its partners to design and deliver a high-quality valve assembly to connect to the diffusion fan coil units.
The British company of the Pettinaroli Group delivered more than 1,200 valve assemblies incorporating the PICV of the Pettinaroli 91 series in a phased delivery pattern. Pettinaroli UK visited Keane Environmental on several occasions to ensure that the proposed solution was acceptable and that its customers were satisfied with the design, quality and performance of the valve assembly.
Emphasis was placed on the performance of the valves, in particular the equal percentage characteristic. In addition, the contractor obtains significant time-saving benefits when he adjusts the valve assemblies to the FCUs from the factory. It was another great honour for Pettinaroli UK to work with Keane Environmental and contribute to such an iconic building in the fantastic city of Dublin.
New residential center in Nanjing
Despite difficulties and delays due to the COVID-19 emergency, Pettinaroli continues a positive year in Asia by completing supply for a major project in China: the new Zhonghaizuoanlanting residential complex in Nanjing. Located on the north bank of the Chengnan River, this property is composed of 30 buildings built by contractor Zhonghai Real Estate Group Co. LTD. Pettinaroli has provided the 2,997 complete collectors to complete the works that are expected to be completed by the end of 2020.
