Mexico. Samsung presented for this country its latest air purifier, a device that filters the air in 3 simple steps to eliminate up to 99.97% of dust of size of 0.3 μm.
The Samsung Air Purifier has the ability to clean an area of 40 m2, through a 3-stage filtration system. A pre-filter extracts larger dust particles, such as cat and dog hairs; a second activated carbon deodorization filter removes harmful gases* and odors; and finally, HEPA filtration with ultra-thin dust filter captures up to 99.97% of ultrafine dust and inhibits bacteria [1].
The air intake is located at the front of the purifier making it easy to clean and change filters.
Air quality detection and visualization
Through a four-color indicator, the purifier indicates how clean the air is in an environment, without needing to be close to it. With the red color it identifies the highly polluted air and with blue color the clean and healthy air, passing before the yellow and green colors.
This function together with the Automatic Mode detects air pollution and automatically adjusts the power and speed of the fan, through dust and gas sensors, so the possibility of having a clean and safe environment at home is easier and more efficient than ever.
The design of the Samsung air purifier was awarded the IF Design Award, in 2017. Its air detection light that wraps around the room with soft lighting and an aesthetic shape and features a built-in handle to facilitate its movement at any time.
In addition, thanks to its rounded edges and child-safe, which prevents changes in its configuration, the purifier will take care of the smallest of the household, at all times.
