International. Belimo Americas, through its president Jim Furlong, announced the different changes that have been made in the sales organization and that have interference in the Latin American market.
These changes involve the addition of some new positions, as well as a realignment of the responsibilities of Vice Presidents of Sales along geographic lines.
As a result of these changes, Chad Blackmer, Vice President responsible for leading Belimo's Contracting and Distribution Sales in the United States and Latin America, left Belimo to pursue new opportunities. Chad joined Belimo in 1996 as an Inside Sales Representative, became National Sales Manager-Sales Engagement in 2006, and has held his current position since 2016.
Steve Stanitzke, currently vice president of U.S. OEM sales, assumed the role of vice president of U.S. sales. In this role, Steve will be responsible for all sales activities in the United States, including OEM sales, as well as contracting and distribution sales. Two new positions will be created in this organization to improve its effectiveness. The first will be a Manager, OEM and Key Accounts. The second will be a Manager, Application Consultant.
Mike LeBlanc, currently Vice President, General Manager of Canada, will assume the role of Vice President of Sales for Canada and Latin America. In this role, Mike will retain all of the responsibility he currently holds for Belimo Canada and also assumes responsibility for sales results in Latin America and Brazil. Two new positions will be created under Mike, an Operations Manager for Belimo Canada, as well as a Vertical Market Manager – Data Centers, who will focus on developing a preference for Belimo products from data center owners located throughout the Americas region.
"I am excited about these changes and am convinced that they will allow us to enhance our ability to deliver customer value and enable Belimo to continue to succeed as the leading provider of actuators, valves and sensors in the Americas region. Of course, we cannot do this without the continued support of our valued customers and we remain sincerely grateful for that loyalty," said Jim Furlong.
