Johnson Controls Recognized as IoT Company of the Year

International. Johnson Controls has been recognized as the "IoT Company of the Year," according to IoT Breakthrough, a market intelligence organization that recognizes the leading companies, technologies and products in the global Internet of Things (IoT) market.

"To have earned the top award from Breakthrough's IoT recognition program this year is an honor," said Sudhi Sinha, vice president and general manager, Digital Solutions, Johnson Controls. "We have dedicated ourselves to growing our Digital Solutions business, acquiring more than 5,000 new users and connecting more than 80,000 equipment and systems in building and shopping center complexes. We will continue to continuously drive innovation, leveraging Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence-enabled technologies to create the buildings of the future that drive our customers' mission.

Breakthrough's IoT Awards program recognizes innovators, leaders and visionaries in a range of IoT categories, including Industrial and Enterprise IoT, Smart Cities technology and more. For this year's program, more than 3,700 global nominations were received.
