Earlier this year, the brand met this number and, in doing so, reached another milestone in the Company's history.
Lars van der Haegen, CEO of Belimo, emphasizes that it doesn't just take the best products and world-class logistics to sell this large number of actuators. Employees who continually seek to offer customers more value than they expect are also essential. Belimo always manages to increase both energy efficiency and comfort, explains van der Haegen. "These are technical innovations and their impact on sustainability. Buildings are responsible for 40 percent of global CO2 emissions, with adequate building control systems, energy savings of up to 50 percent can be achieved compared to buildings without."
In addition, the company explained that even the 100 millionth actuator produced offers the same sustainable added value for customers, a PR actuator, which was manufactured as an anniversary product. The PR actuator is part of a motorized butterfly valve that is used in water applications and, thanks to an energy consumption of only 20 watts, reduces energy consumption by more than 80% compared to competing products. "We are proud to look back on 100 million actuators. Our customers have great confidence in us and the partnerships have made it possible and we want to thank them for this joint success," concluded van der Haegen.
