Mexico. For the fourth consecutive year, Samsung Electronics Mexico has been proudly recognized as a Socially Responsible Company, a distinction awarded each year by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (CEMEFI), to companies that direct their efforts towards the voluntary and public implementation of continuous improvement programs.
"Samsung's partners are actively involved in programs that make up the company's strong social responsibility strategy: from supporting disadvantaged communities to raising awareness and education for the protection of Mexican coral reefs," added Mr. H.S. Jo, President of Samsung Electronics Mexico.
Aligned with its vision of offering a better future to society, Samsung has placed special emphasis on promoting education in Mexico and the world, for this reason, it developed the global program: "Solutions for the Future", which has become the flagship project of the company and that this year celebrates its sixth edition in the country.
With "Solutions for the Future", the company reaffirms its commitment to promote the entrepreneurship of initiatives that give tangible answers to real problems of the community, as well as to promote the participation of women in technological projects, this through the presence of -at least- one female member in each team that registers in the contest.
The contribution of Samsung Electronics Mexico to the country includes the implementation of social programs, the continuous commitment to education and the development of new technologies such as the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence.
