Controllers and Full Gauge Controls system equip smart cabinets

International. Making supermarket purchases online and picking them up in closets scattered around strategic locations in the city is already a reality in many countries in the Americas, Europe and Oceania. And the technology behind all this is Brazilian, developed by Full Gauge Controls.

The company exports to a Chinese industry, which is responsible for the manufacture of the cabinets. The great differential of the product is to offer stations for frozen and cold, guaranteeing the conservation of all types of food.

According to the vice-manager of the Chinese industry responsible for the manufacture of the equipment, the fact of offering the possibility of remote management of the facilities is very important for its customers: the companies that acquire and manage these collection stations. One of the functionalities of Sitrad, from Full Gauge Controls, is the sending of alarms, whenever a parameter is outside what was previously established. Once, one of these companies received alarms sent by the system, which reported the increase in temperature inside the cabinets. At the same instant, they operated on the cause of the problem, avoiding the waste of stored products.

In the structure of the cabinets, the Chinese manufacturer chose to use the TC-900E Log controllers, for frozen, and MT-512E Log, used in this case for refrigerated, both connected to Sitrad, to guarantee remote control of the operation of each installation. The system is provided free of charge (www.sitrad.com/es) and to have access to the information it is necessary to have only one device (tablet, computer or cell phone) connected to the Internet and the Full Gauge Controls controllers in the installation. "Applications like this reinforce that we are on the right track, with our instruments facilitating the routine of people around the world", highlights the deputy commercial director of Full Gauge Controls, Rodnei Peres. For Peres, it is important to note that the company is in the opposite direction of most manufacturers, since it is it who exports its technology to the Chinese, in addition to being present in more than 63 countries.

The product, developed about four years ago, is currently marketed for countries such as the United States, Canada, Australia and Chile, as well as various markets in Europe. Normally the withdrawal stations, composed of several units, are located at strategic points in the chosen cities. For the end user, the process is very simple: it is just to make online purchases normally and at checkout choose where you would like to pick it up. The buyer receives an e-mail with a collection code and, upon arrival at the established station, inserts this number, which then opens the correct door. It is a fast and safe operation, which has Brazilian technology to simplify the lives of consumers.
