International. Victaulic recently launched its new support for cold storage applications. The VicFlex Style AB6, created to fit walls or ceilings of any thickness, can now be purchased together with the V33, V36 or V40 dry sprinkler and the AH2-CC series or AH2 series braided hose.
The industry's best seal integrity remains intact and protects against condensation. In addition, the installation on the freezer is very simple and can be done by a single person.

Tim Voller, skilled worker at Breth-Zensen Fire Protection and a customer at Victaulic, said: "Victaulic makes our work easier and faster. We used to install two dry cooling heads in an hour and two men were in charge of cutting and aligning the rigid tubes. Now, with the new VicFlex Style AB6 stand, we can install between 20 and 25 dry cooling heads in an hour. It allows us to insert all the heads into the corresponding holes so that they align perfectly and we no longer have to deal with the cumbersome sprayed foam. The installations are incredibly simple and there are fewer parts that can be lost."

Optimized for cold storage applications, the VicFlex Style AB6 stand is available with hanging, hidden and horizontal wall baffles and available interchangeable chapetones include recessed, sleeve and shield and satin chapetones. The maximum working pressure is 175 psi/1375 kPa. The standard maximum working temperature is 150°F/65°C (EPDM/neoprene foam) and an optional maximum working temperature of 225°F/107°C (closed cell silicone foam) is available.
