International. The manufacturer of compressors for air conditioning and refrigeration, Frascold, has released an update to its selection software.
The new software is easy to use and provides accurate results that support the operator with all the necessary data to:
- Selection of compressor and condensing unit
- Performance data table for the selected product
- Calculation of performance under operational design conditions
The new software adds several new units and refrigerants, as well as including updated performance data for its range of compressors and condensing units.
The update includes:
RECIPS and UNITS:
• Added R1234ze for AXY compressors
• Added R1234yf for AXY and AX compressors
• Added new Z40-140140Y/AXH/AXY and Z50-140Y/AXH/AXY (not UL)
• Modified W R404A envelope, extended for low evaporation temperature
• Added R450A and R513A for Einside compressors
SCREW:
• Modified performance with R134a, R1234ze, R1234yf, R513A and R450A for all CX
• Added new step data to 75%, 50% and 25% for CX
• Fixed any bugs
CO2 CYCLE TOOLS
• Extended envelope TK (low evaporation)
• The performance of SK3 compressors has been updated after laboratory tests
• Two new models were added: S35-21TK and S40-26TK
• Fixed any bugs
