International. ASHRAE has developed an application for smart mobile devices called ASHRAE HVAC PT Chart. It is an electronic pressure temperature calculator that allows HVAC technicians and contractors to quickly search for the temperature and corresponding pressure for more than 100 common HVAC refrigerants including bubble and dew versions of azeotropic refrigerants (mixture).
This is the only PT Chart application that allows you to email complete lists of PT charts, refrigerant properties and their entered values/results.
The app, which is currently only available for Apple teams, has the following features:
1. It works on both Apple iPhone and iPad (and adjusts its screen according to the screen size of the mobile device, whether you're running it on iPhone 6 or iPad)
2. Optimized for iOS 10+
3. Includes 100+ refrigerants
4. It allows you to enter the temperature and then the corresponding pressure will be displayed and vice versa.
5. It also allows you to use a slider to specify the exact pressure or temperature to see the corresponding temperature or pressure
6. Displays a list of pressure/temperature values in increments of 1 degree
7. Allows you to select atmospheric pressure to show true pressure-temperature ratio even for high elevations
8. Includes a database of more than 1,000 cities worldwide with elevation data that is used to derive atmospheric pressure
9. Shows common properties for the selected refrigerant (oil type, GWP, composition, critical temperature, boiling temperature and more...)
10. Email project inputs and properties for the selected refrigerant
11. Email the full pressure/temperature list for the selected refrigerant
12. Show units in English and metric
13. Includes dew and bubble versions of any azeotropic coolant (mixture)
