Colombia. A great experience left the XVI edition of the ExpoAcaire that was held from July 26 to 28 at the Valle del Pacífico Events Center, in the city of Cali.
According to preliminary figures provided by the president of the association, Giovanni Barletta, Expoacaire 2017 registered a historical record of regional fair with more than 1,300 attendees from 12 countries, 60 exhibitors, of which 35% were international, 2,000 square meters of commercial sample, 105 speakers and 140 conferences.
As indicated by ASHRAE Colombia Chapter, the Congress was attended by 105 speakers from the United States, Denmark, Spain, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Brazil, Ecuador, Argentina and Colombia, three Keynote Speakers (ASHRAE World President Bjarne Olesen; AHRI World President Stephen Yurek, and the President of ACAIRE, Giovanni Barletta) who gave 140 lectures and nine intensive courses. Attendees also had the opportunity to take the certification exams taught by ASHRAE and NAFA.
ACR Latin America was present at the event, where it presented all visitors and exhibitors with the latest edition of its printed magazine where the Top 100 Ranking of Contractors-Installers in Latin America is located, 2017 version.
In addition, several companies took advantage of the event to hold integration meetings (cocktails) inside and outside the facilities, such as Carrier, Johnson Controls, Lennox, among others.
