International. From February 28 to March 3 , the Climatización & Refrigeración fair was held within the framework of Ifema in Madrid, Spain. The event was visited by 49,935 professionals from 82 countries.
The fair was attended by around 700 companies -360 companies from 24 countries of direct participation- which presented their news, content and activities, as a reflection of a growing sector and a market in progressive reactivation.
This event also presented four plenary sessions and more than 60 conferences of which around 1,600 professionals participated in the framework of the Climate Forum. Meanwhile, the Workshops - TAC Workshop and a Refrigeration Workshop - gathered about 4,000 attendees.
ACR Latin America was present for the first time at the event, taking advantage of the close relationship that a large part of the exhibitors have with the Latin American region, where Spanish and some European companies have been increasing their business over the years. Something very positive for our region, as the offer and opportunity for the selection of technologies in a market that for Spaniards is of great potential is increased. The presence of these companies in countries such as Chile and Peru drew attention, standing out above the others as the nations where most business is generated among themselves.
Finally, the fair presented a space called Innovation Gallery, a space where twelve proposals are selected in equipment and solutions that offered an interesting perspective of the R + d + i sector and the advances that have been marking the evolution of this industry. All this with the focus on efficiency, comfort and care for the environment.
