The company Italsan presented its recent installation of a system of pipes and fittings in PP-R Niron, prescribed and installed in the Hot Water and Cold Water line of the new hospital complex under construction in Los Ceibos, north of Guayaquil, Ecuador.
The new hospital of six eight-story towers that will exceed 76 thousand square meters of construction plans to serve 2,200,000 members per year.
The original design of the plumbing installations was designed with copper pipe (hot water and cold water).
From the consortium, in the search for a technical improvement in the material of the facilities, alternatives of the highest certified quality were studied and with the support of a supplier with guarantees of service and technical support from the project and during the execution of the work.
The company explained that the Logistics Center of Italsan in Panama was key to supply on time the 37,000 meters of Niron polypropylene pipe reinforced with SDR11 fiberglass in diameter 1/2" up to 5", the 19,970 corresponding clamps for support, all the components of the System for socket welding, and the necessary tools and machinery.
The technical office of Italsan has actively collaborated in all aspects of documentary support related to submission, regulations and certifications as well as technical support during the execution of the work.
A fundamental aspect to highlight has been the displacement on site of Italsan technical personnel to carry out the training of the operators before the start of work.
