The previous week the Chillventa fair attracted 32,206 professional visitors, which meant a new record for the most important exhibition specialized in refrigeration and air conditioning in Europe, which was held in Nuremberg, Germany.
The new record, a 5% increase over the 2014 base, was announced by the organizer after the three-day biennial event that closed last Thursday. International visitors made up 56% of the attendance, a figure similar to that of 2014.
Although the exhibition floor space was increased by 8,850m², the 982 exhibitors who attended this year were actually two fewer than in 2014. The organization attributed this to the consolidation of the industry and a desire on the part of some exhibitors for more space.
Chillventa 2018 will take place from 16 to 18 October, again in Nuremberg.
