At Cedia 2016 (audio, video, lighting and automation show for the residential sector), the company Basalte received two awards for its design and technology with its product Deseo, a control panel for HVAC.
For the CE Pro BEST Awards, a group of a dozen industry leaders evaluated more than 170 entries. All participants were judged on innovation, functionality, competitive advantages and benefits for the installer. Praising the user interface and exceptional design, Deseo's HVAC control panel was recognized as one of the most prominent new products in the industry.
In addition, a panel of anonymous integrators judges and professional journalists awarded them the award as Best of Show product of Cedia 2016. The written presentations and covert visual inspections at the show convinced them of the high quality of the Desire, both in design and functionalities. These awards are organized by Residential Systems Magazine.
Deseo is an air conditioning control panel with touch-sensitive sensors. It offers a simple and innovative user interface for HVAC systems of the Lutron, Homeworks QS and Crestron brands.
In standby mode, Desire displays the current temperature and time. Use touch-sensitive surfaces to easily change the set point, fan speed, and temperature mode.
