Oldach will present its solutions at Expo ACAIRE

International. The company Oldach Export, based in Puerto Rico, will be present at the next ACAIRE Expo to be held from September 26 to 30 in Bogotá, Colombia, where it will present its main solutions in air conditioning and refrigeration.

"We are presenting a comprehensive solution in air conditioning systems with the Midea and MDV brand; this includes everything from mini-split systems to centrifugal, screw, magnetic and scroll chillers, all AHRI certified; including modular, double-walled, fan & coils (AHRI certified) air handlers ; package-type direct expansion equipment and inverter split systems, and of course the VRF-certified AHRI and standard, since Midea is one of the largest manufacturers in this segment. Our portfolio as Oldach includes peripherals such as fans, pumps and cooling towers but this will not be presented at the expo," explained Alfredo Díaz, market development manager at Oldach.

Díaz stressed that one of the main objectives of the company in the region is to position Midea/MDV as an effective alternative of solutions in air conditioning systems in Central America, the Caribbean, Colombia and Ecuador. "For this purpose, we are the Authorized Midea spare parts center for all of Latin America, maintaining a permanently updated inventory, greater than  US$750,000. We have our training center in San Juan, Puerto Rico with instructors in Spanish and English. Our own distribution centers are located in Panama and Puerto Rico. We are creating alliances in Colombia and other key markets to offer our products and services. For example, we are very active in Panama, Costa Rica and some Caribbean islands because it is a natural extension to our corporate in Puerto Rico."

He further explained that the company has already participated with its solutions in different projects: "Over time, Midea has supplied mini-split and VRF solutions with its OEM partners. In our short existence as Oldach Export, we have already supplied VRF equipment to a plant in the Dominican Republic and to a building complex in Barbados (50Hz). In Puerto Rico we already have works with VRF, chillers scroll, screw and we have sold modular air handlers. There is a 5,400-ton cold water plant with air-condensed screw equipment in Venezuela. We hope that this list will continue to grow," said the brand representative.
