International. A new ASHRAE web application automates the calculations needed to show a building project's compliance with Standard 90.1-2010.
The 90.1 ECB web application is a tool for modeling compliance with the ANSI/ASHRAE/IES 90.1-2010 Standard, Energy Standard for Buildings Other Than Low-Rise Residential Buildings, using the Standard's Energy Cost Budget (ECB) method.
"The app allows users to enter project parameters and calculate the performance and compliance of the projected design, with results that can be exported to a worksheet for use," said Drake Erbe, director of the 90.1 Standard Committee.
The application is available to work on desktops, tablets and other devices. It allows users to store project information in one place for easy reference and comparison.
The app is free for users. To learn more, visit 901ECB.ashrae.org.
