. The Peruvian company Cold Import announced the supply of the first ecological project installed with cold food CO2 in a supermarket chain.
The company installed food refrigeration equipment using for low temperature a subcritical CO2 system, 100% ecological that does not damage the ozone layer and with low impact on the greenhouse effect; for medium temperature, he used a cascade system using the refrigerant R134A as the primary fluid and Glycol as the secondary.
"We consider that it is the first project with CO2 in the region and that Cold Import has successfully carried out, as well as several projects that use Glycol in their refrigeration systems, both for food cold in supermarkets and for process rooms in the industry," the company says in an official statement.
The Peruvian company has more than 56 years in the Peruvian market, has a main office in the district of Miraflores, several branches in Lima and provinces; in addition to a network of distributors throughout the country.
In air conditioning they represent Carrier InterAmerica Corporation, and this year they also achieved two awards that Carrier granted for having achieved the first place in sales in the Andean region and the Caribbean, for its distribution to several supermarket chains, shopping centers, hotels, office buildings, financial centers, among others.
