Colombia. Termomontajes del Valle or TMV Ingeniería, a company specialized in the design, manufacture, marketing, assembly and maintenance of thermal systems, announced the appointment of its new general manager.
This is Lina María Llanos, who comes to the company that this year is celebrating its 15th anniversary. Ana María hopes to contribute all her experience in the aspect of management, after her time in the textile-fashion industry.
"As general manager of TMV, my main expectation is to innovate in the company, this is a company that has 15 years in the market, where we do refrigeration assemblies and the idea is that we dedicate ourselves to innovate in all refrigeration concepts."
Although she has only been at TMV for just over a month, Ana María is already clear that the energy saving aspect is key today in this industry: "At the fair (ExpoAcaire) there have been too many people interested in cooling providing the industry with energy savings, which is something that is beneficial for companies and for the environment. In the trainings there has been a lot of talk about the issue of energy saving and that something to which all of us in this sector must bet".
Finally, Ana María talks about what is coming for the company: "In these 15 years we have changes that are being generated within the company, we are already based in Bogotá, soon on the North Coast; Medellín is a headquarters that is expanding, in addition to our main headquarters in Cali. The idea is that we can continue to move forward with other business units."
