Miami hosts RefriAméricas 2019

The fair will be held for the first time in Miami, on June 26 and 27 at the Miami Airport & Convention Center.

By ACR Latin America

After having left its mark in Colombia and more recently in Panama, Latin Press, Inc., organizer of RefriAméricas, considered it a very good opportunity to hold the event in a city as special as Miami.

The place chosen for RefriAméricas Miami is the Miami Airport & Convention Center (MAAC) located very close to the airport and with very adequate facilities for what will be the show. The event will take place from June 26 to 27.

Fair and exhibitors
At the moment, RefriAméricas has already confirmed the participation of more than 60 exhibitors, a figure that continues to rise thanks to the interest of the industry. That speaks very well of the expectations that the brands have and the good reception that the city of Miami has had as a headquarters, because in addition, many of the large air conditioning and refrigeration firms with a market in Latin America have offices in this territory of Florida.

The event will have a space of more than 3,000 m2. "Visitors will find different exhibitors from Brazil, Ukraine, Mexico, Italy, Colombia, USA, Spain, France and Belgium, they will also share with all the exhibitors in the cocktail that we will make the first night of the event, which is already well recognized by the industry under the name of "Fiesta Alegría", commented Fabio Giraldo, Project Manager of the event.

The expectations of the organization are high: "We have high expectations, because we trust in our experience to carry out this event and we know that very interesting business and business expectations will be presented; professionals will have the opportunity to expand their contact lists and to know first-hand what manufacturers and distributors are currently offering in technologies for the Latin market," said Fabio Giraldo.

Meanwhile, RefriAméricas participants also expressed their opinions about the event in Miami: "This is where this type of information is really disseminated. Technicians can find in a single location the latest technology and market news," said Richard Apodaca, of Uniweld Products, exhibitor confirmed for the fair.

Guitze Messina, Executive Director of the International Association of Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Distributors (HARDI) Mexico, said: "I am very happy because RefriAméricas finally arrives in Miami, which is the capital of Latin America. It is the best place to bring together different countries in the region in one place. In addition, Miami has a bit of the things that we as an Association would like to show contractors, manufacturers and distributors in Latin America."

Congress
For this year a special congress is prepared, with a series of activities that will be held on June 25 (one day before the opening of the fair) as will be the traditional guided tours of projects and manufacturing plants in both air conditioning and refrigeration; and as a novelty, RefriAméricas will offer for the first time the so-called "Management Afternoon". It is a series of special conferences aimed at managers or administrators of companies in the sector, to address important issues on sales, marketing, business management, among others. This space has the support of HARDI.

In addition to these activities, the congress will again offer the opportunity to enter two halls (Air Conditioning and / or Refrigeration) where speakers from renowned regions such as Spain, Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Central America, and of course the United States will be present. There will be a total of 16 conferences programmed especially with topics related to ventilation in parking lots and overpressure systems, chillers, Indoor Air Quality, evaporative cooling, analysis of climatic conditions, compressors in different conditions, failures in refrigeration systems, execution of cold room projects, among others.
