Colombia. Tecnoedificios 2011 covered all expectations for both attendees and exhibitors who for two days shared with specialists the main novelties of the industry in the updating of buildings such as advanced facilities in security, integration, lighting and cooling.
This 2011 edition had a consolidated of more than 1500 people; In addition 90% of the exhibitors will renew for next year's version.
Ramón Burgos, Philips administrator and lecturer in the academic talks added that "the most important thing about these events is that the right people are summoned, a staff that can receive the information and make it a reality."
Likewise, Tad Sodergren representative of the commercial sample by the company Lennox, focused the importance of the event on the fact that "the information that we are taking reaches contractors or consultants and sometimes this information does not reach the end users, who are the ones who are looking for a solution in renewable energy, an LED certification, or an upgrade in air conditioning."
Finally, the attendees showed their satisfaction with the quality of the talks given. For example, Ecuadorian engineer Miguel Quichimbo commented that "thanks to the professionalization of the exhibitions I was able to fulfill the objective of my visit which was to learn about the construction of intelligent buildings ."
The third edition of Tecnoedificios will be held on November 8 and 9, 2012 at the Plaza Mayor convention center in the city of Medellín.
