With the presence of representatives of the main companies in the sector, the Academic Committee of RefriaAméricas defined its program of talks for 2011. This program will offer the attendees of the congress a quality content and according to the current needs posed by the refrigeration industry.
Among the speakers are such prominent names as Giovanni Barletta (Colombia), representative of the company Emerson; Florentino Torres (Colombia) - TM Consultants; Rodnei Peres (Brazil) - Full Gauge; Willian Morales Quispe (Peru) - Servicios Reter ERL; Tino Saqués (Spain) - Frisaqués S.L.; Fabio Clavijo (Colombia) – Tecnaire; Ernesto Sanguinetti (Peru) - Cold Import S.A., Fernando Becerra (Colombia) – Danfoss; and César Isaza (Colombia) - Energy and Thermodynamics Research Group of the Pontifical Bolivarian University.
Likewise, within the academic program, topics of enormous relevance for the industry are highlighted, such as "State-of-the-art technological developments in capacity control systems in commercial refrigeration", "Chicken refrigeration and freezing processes - Truths and lies", "The concept of Good Practices in Refrigeration (BPR) and its application in the industrial field of the region", "Replacement by HC refrigerants in domestic and commercial equipment: A sustainable bet for the future", "Design, operation and preventive maintenance of refrigeration systems", and "How to obtain and increase efficiency in the design of industrial refrigeration solutions?"
RefriAméricas 2011 will be held at the Centro Internacional de Convenciones y Exposiciones Plaza Mayor in Medellín, Colombia, on June 16 and 17.
