Onset presents its HOBOmobile application and its new compatibility with Android devices. This free application is used to traffic and analyze the environmental data collected with the HobO Onset series data logger.
It offers the power and convenience of data logging via smart Bluetooth to a greater number of mobile users. From Android devices, building managers, energy managers, and others can wirelessly configure the MX1101's HOBO loggers, view data in charts, check logger status, and share data in Excel and other applications.
HOBOmobile also makes it quick and easy to set up audible alarm notifications, so users receive immediate notification of issues. For example, if the temperature rises in data centers to the point that there is overheating in the equipment, or if the humidity in the building will reach a point that could lead to mold growth, the MX1101 logger will sound and notifications will reach the user's screen so that he can take preventive measures.
HOBOmobile for Android can be downloaded for free on Google Play; it is also available for iOS mobile devices in Apple's iTunes Store.
