The new largest jaw tube clamps on the market for HVAC/R have a wide aperture of 3/4 inch to 4 1/8 inches, suitable for a wide variety of pipe sizes, especially in large commercial and refrigeration applications.
The product incorporates Rapid Rail sensor technology, allowing an accurate temperature reading to be obtained in a few seconds. With this technology, temperature readings are not affected by ambient air as the thermocouple is thermally insulated and the clamps will react immediately to changes in system settings while the technician is working. This can greatly facilitate the measurement of overheating or subcooling in most refrigeration appliances or air conditioners.
Clamps adapt virtually anywhere they need and offer a secure connection even in wet or damp pipes. They are compact and have an easy-to-open design that allows them to be placed with one hand.
Included with the TC48 large tube clamp K-type thermocouple is a 6-foot long cable without creaches and an emery cloth for cleaning tubes. The Premium Job Link System large tube clamp probe includes the probe, batteries and an emery cloth to clean the pipes.
