The DHP series of dehumidifier pipes offer passive moisture reduction without moving parts or additional energy input of any kind. DHP instantly pre-cools the inlet air to 8 to 13°F, allowing the cooling coil to reach the dew point sooner and more efficiently, thus improving condensate removal. In addition, the reheating process uses the same heat extracted in the pre-cooling section of the heating pipe, thus saving energy. It replaces the overheating of the electrical belt, and does not add heat to the conditioned space. It allows to reduce the size of the entire AC system.
