Elgin
The new line of US condensing units was developed for applications from 6 to 18HP. The main feature is customization, with models with and without fairing, with a diverse selection of compressors and additional mechanical and electrical features.
This line is available in three versions: Basic (With and without fairing), Full Mechanics (With and without fairing), and Complete Mechanics and Electrical (Only with fairing).
The basic version has liquid line filter, liquid visor, liquid receiver, service valve (at the receiver outlet and on the suction line), check valve, adjustable high and low pressure switch, crankcase heater, oil separator and IP44 plastic electrical box with terminal. For version with semi-hermetic compressor, it has anti-vibration tube in the discharge and oil separator.
The full Mechanical version has all the components of the basic version and more suction line filter, liquid separator (suction accumulator), service valve (at the entrance of the receiver), suction line insulation and IP44 plastic electrical box with terminal.
The complete Mechanical and Electrical version has all the components of the Mechanical version and plus the extended metal electrical box with condensation control, capacity control, compressor contactor, inverter relay and phase failure, overload relay, disjoints, hot gas defrosting and the new Elgin Smart electronic module that allows to diagnose possible problems quickly and visually with lights that indicate the status of the components as a missing phase, overload, oil sensor, high and low pressure switch and compressor.
All versions have the option of Scroll type compressors (Elgin and Copeland) and Semi-hermetic type compressors (Bitzer and Copeland) having the capacity range of 3,644 to 45,028 kcal / h. It has versions for medium/low (-40°C to 15°C) or low temperature (-40°C to -15°C) operation with refrigerant fluids R404A, R507 and R134A.
The condenser is assembled with copper tubes with internal groove and aluminum fins, offering durability and efficiency. The available electrical options are 220v/380/440v, 50Hz and 60Hz.
