In recent years ecological tourism has become very fashionable, especially for ordinary travelers, this type of activities allows us to enjoy nature to the fullest causing an almost zero environmental impact.
Ecological tourism is also related to adventure, so it brings greater attention, one of the main organizations linked to ecological tourism is the International Ecotourism Society, an NGO that was one of the first to promote since the 90's healthier alternative holidays for our planet.
To contribute in this way to the planet, it is not necessary to join an NGO, it is enough to have the initiative to protect the environment and collaborate in ecological support by taking actions, such as taking advantage of and visiting this type of destinations, carrying out outdoor activities, using means of transport that do not pollute, making flights as short as possible, etc. So invited to our family and friends, we set the example and do our bit so that the planet is as little affected as possible.
