The Magic Garden, in Arócutin (Mun. de Erongaricuaro) is organizing a GREAT ALTERNATIVE FAIR.
This space is available to all local producers, artisans, artists, naturopathic doctors, workshops, cooks, who want to benefit from an alternative place to sell their products, on the last Sundays of each month.
The first Fair will be held on Sunday, October 31, 2010
General presentation of the project
This non-profit project is made up of a group of people interested in consuming good quality and healthy products, food and services.
Our concern is to generate a space in which producers and consumers interact directly by exchanging agricultural, livestock, artisanal and artistic products for a fair price.
We support local producers seeking to increase quality production in the area.
We are a cultural meeting point where every month workshops, music and arts will be organized, which guide the community towards the care of their health and the environment.
General objective
Promote the local economy and promote responsible consumption by favoring the direct sale of local and / or organic products and offering a cultural meeting space.
Specific objectives
- Bring together producers and consumers to boost the link between the countryside and the city
- Allow consumers to have access to good quality, local and/or organic, mind- and body-healthy products
- Offer producers a space to sell their products
- Support the cultural, culinary and artistic diversity of our region
Requirements for producers/artisans/artists who want to participate
There are some requirements to be able to sell your products at that Fair:
- We prefer local products, but we welcome artisans and producers from other regions
- Use of natural and/or organic materials and products
- Handmade
This collective project needs the support of each of you to meet your goals. We ask you to spread this email and talk about the project to all the people who might be interested in selling their products at this Fair.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
BarTER, or solidarity exchange, will be a possible activity among all the producers of the Fair. Everyone can then exchange one product against another if the 2 people agree.
We warn you that the Magic Garden changes its clean glass jars with metal lids with products from the garden according to the season and the production of the moment (jams, fruits, zucchini, corn).
