They present standard that certifies installations at home and buildings

altMexico. From May 7 to 11, the first Certification Course for the Installation of Smart Buildings will be held in Mexico City, which is based on the massification of the knX international standard on control for houses and properties.

The standard allows local or remote monitoring and control of services such as lighting, air conditioning, audio and video systems, blinds, among others. "This certification has been in Europe for more than 20 years, it was born thanks to the union of the strength of international brands focused on control. Its objective was to create an international standard, independent of any brand, that allows the intercommunication of systems, guaranteeing functionality and quality to the user. Currently there are more than 200 brands associated with the standard," said Maribel Pacheco Ramos, coordinator of KNX Mexico. This standard is applicable for residential control and large facilities such as hotels, corporate buildings, airports, hospitals, among others. "Currently the telecommunications sector plays an important point in these technologies, customers want and sometimes need to know what is happening with the lighting of their home or office, their air conditioning systems, their energy consumption, from anywhere on the planet, so integrators must have knowledge about KNX certification." This will be the second course to be held on the standard and will include topics such as KNX System Arguments, KNX Communication, KNX TP1 Topology. Telegram TP1, KNX Bus Components, Powerline 110, TP1 Installation, KNX Project Design with ETS Fundamentals, KNX Commissioning with ETS and ETS Diagnostics. KNX allows the customer who has the need to automate their house or building, just consult the association's website to review the list of integrators and brands certified with the standard. For the list of integrators and brands certified with the standard visit www.knx.org
